Hi friends,
I had another intro letter written, but then the news of the leaked Roe v. Wade decision broke, and the cheerful, quippy greeting I had prepared felt out of step with the reality of our current situation.
The theme for this month was always going to be “change”, but this simple idea feels more important now than ever before.
While this looming Supreme Court decision feels insurmountable, it’s important to remember that a majority of Americans (58% in 2021) do not want Roe v. Wade overturned.
I’m begrudgingly hopeful that through continued education (and a LOT of patience) we may still have a shot in the dark yet.
